And if we blossom as high as north western trees / I swear I’ll still be the same as I was as a seed

It’s hard not to love nature when one is living on the west coast.  Especially in Vancouver, where there are a lot of parks at arm’s reach.  One of the ways I practice my doodling is with drawing trees and branches.  This particular painting doesn’t have leaves on it, the frame is too small to get too elaborate, but it’s the first time I actually used paint and not pen to draw the branches.  I think it turned out quite well for a first attempt.

Practice makes perfect though.  Eventually, this will blossom into something else entirely.
